Bill Pratt joined the Gavin team in the Fall of 2000. He had over 10 years of experience in the sales and material procurement field before coming on board. Bill is very customer service oriented and takes great pride in seeing that his customers get exactly what they need for their projects including the best possible lead times and cost. Ben joined Gavin Associates in January of 2006. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in December 2005. Having worked summers for us over the last few years, Ben is familiar with our product line and New England customer base. He continues to broaden his technical knowledge and currently attends night school to enhance his technical skills. We welcome Ben’s bottomless enthusiasm and admirable work ethic. We are proud to have Ben join our sales team.

Marc Goldberg Territories covered: Northern New Jersey, New York City & Hudson River Valley

Prior to coming to Gavin Associates, Marc Goldberg spent approximately twenty-one years selling national and private label brands in the areas of hardware, safety and building products to local and national suppliers. Six of those years were for a nationwide importing firm. Previous to this, while pursuing a Bachelor's degree at Jersey City University, Marc worked in retail, selling hardware and building products.

Kevin EngemannTerritories covered: NYC, Long Island & Westchester County

We welcome Kevin W. Engemann, an accomplished bilingual sales executive skilled at prospecting, accessing key decision makers and closing business. He has been recognized for his strengths in consultative / solutions sales and selling in price-sensitive, rapidly changing markets. A solid 20 year plus record of success at winning NYC and greater metropolitan area business at accounts previously dominated by the competition, building teams, as well as developing long-term relationships with customers built on exceptional service and trust. He is equally skilled at establishing alliances with customers and vendors, the latter to ensure turnkey solutions to accounts.

Jules Dekovics Territories covered: Northern New Jersey, NYC & Hudson River Valley

A well-rounded career precedes Jules Dekovics' employment at Gavin Associates. The son of a Central New Jersey drywall contractor, Jules gained application experience for the better part of 15 years prior to accepting a position with a national building materials supplier where he learned the in's and out's of the day to day operations and requirements to run the business. He moved on to a career with Lafarge North America spearheading sales for New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and New York State prior to be promoted to Product Manager of Joint Finishing Systems nationally. Most recently Jules worked as the Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Dietrich Metal Framing with responsibility from Maine to Virginia. The 20-plus years of experience in all facets of the building products business makes this an exciting opportunity and for a bright future for him and Gavin Associates.
