Since 1980 Gavin Associates have worked closely with light gage framing contractors throughout New England providing the technical assistance they need. If you have questions for bid purposes, need a certified shop drawing quotation or have on site framing issues always feel free to contact us.

Our certified shop drawing services are provided by independent engineers with total focus on light steel framing design and construction. This dedicated focus enables our engineers to provide the most competitive design possible and with reasonable lead times. At Gavin Associates, we remain totally convinced that these structural engineers are the very best in light gage design.

Through our in-house engineering staff, Dietrich Design Group provides certified shop drawings and calculations.
This service provides our customers with the most detailed, easy to use drawings and the most cost effective framing solutions in the industry. From multi-story load-bearing structures to curtain-wall construction, no matter how big or small the project, DDG is there to assist.

Sabbagh Associates, Inc. are located in Stoneham, Massachusetts and operate a two man office. Edward Sabbagh, P.E. has been dedicated to light steel framing design for over twenty years and continues to be a major asset to light steel framing contractors throughout New England and New York. Sabbagh Associates offers P.E. Stamps in all six New England states and New York.

Macleod Structural Engineers are located in Westbrook, Maine and over the last four years have proven themselves to be effective, concise, competitive and very dependable. They operate with five engineers. Macleod Structural Engineers offers P.E. Stamps in all six New England states and New York.

Technical Assistance

In an effort to offer more to our customer base than just our current price and availability, we at Gavin Associates specialize in offering a wide range of technical assistance as well. We are eager to work closely with the contractor base not only after they are awarded the project but prior to bidding as well when the technical assistance is even more critical.

We review plans and specs with the contractor and discuss specific connections, various window and door framing along with the wind load conditions involved. This will allow us to assist the contractor with the stud selection and connection details that may be required on their specific project. This should help give the contractor a better understanding of his labor and material cost prior to bidding the project.
